Are you looking for beautiful music this weekend? Join us for one performance of "Melodies in Bloom" this Saturday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ventura College Performing Arts Center Lawn.
The VC Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra (Ashley Walters, conductor) will present a program featuring music by VC Professor Andrew Tholl and Los Angeles composer Harold Budd, who was noted for his collaborations with art-pop artists and for the spaciousness and calm of his music. Dvořák's exuberant ”American" Quartet and Beethoven's revolutionary "Eroica" Symphony will also be featured.
