🤜🏾HISTORY OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH - Feb. 10 at noon.
VC Professor Michael Felix will lead a presentation about how Black History Month was established in 1926 to celebrate Black History and to educate the nation regarding Black History in the US.
🤜🏾 MUSIC & DANCE - Feb. 17 at noon.
VC music professor Fundi Legohn and professional dancer Yaminah Legohn will share music and dance moves that link African American cultural traditions. Attendees are encouraged to listen to the music and join in on the dancing!
🤜🏾 ROSA PARKS CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISM - Feb. 24 at noon.
Learn more about Rosa Parks role in civil rights activism and her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. Presented by Professor Michael Felix.
