VC Professor Michael Felix will lead a presentation about how Black History Month was established in 1926 to celebrate Black History and to educate the nation regarding Black History in the US. 🤜🏾 MUSIC & DANCE Feb. 17 at noon. VC music professor Fundi Legohn and professional dancer Yaminah Legohn will share music and dance moves that link African American cultural traditions. Attendees are encouraged to listen to the music and join in on the dancing! 🤜🏾 ROSA PARKS CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISM Feb. 24 at noon. Learn more about Rosa Parks' role in civil rights activism and her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott.
