A big high five to all the Piru Elementary School students who completed their Healthy Heart Challenge! ❤️❤️❤️
A few months ago, Ventura College adopted Piru Elementary School to create community, inspire a college-going culture, and to encourage healthy habits.
Almost 300 Piru Elementary students toured Ventura College, received awards, and picnicked on our lawn on Friday.
The kids said one of the best parts of the day was touring the nursing lab and seeing the lifelike patient simulators used by our nursing students.
