Our medical team offers treatment, preventative care, and health education to address the diverse needs of our students. Some services and treatments require a low-cost fee, some are free. Students who have paid the health fee and are actively enrolled students may access the following services including:
- Acute Illness Treatment: Diagnosis and care for short-term medical concerns.
- Family PACT Program: Comprehensive family planning services.
- STI and HIV Testing: Confidential screening and counseling. Free condoms & dental dams.
- Pregnancy Tests: Rapid and reliable testing with support services.
- Birth Control and Emergency Contraception: Access to contraception and guidance.
- Tuberculosis Testing: Laboratory testing for TB screening (QFT).
- Immunizations: Vaccines for common illnesses and requirements (as available).
- Basic Vision Screening: Preliminary vision assessments.
- General Lab Work: Routine lab tests (as needed).
- Physicals: Health screenings for academic programs and employment.
- Influenza and COVID Testing: Rapid diagnosis and care for respiratory illness symptoms.
- First Aid Care: Immediate care for minor injuries.
- Pap Smear Testing: Preventative cervical cancer screening.
- Health and Nutrition Education: Personalized guidance to promote healthy living.
- Education: Health and wellness education for individuals, class presentations, campus-wide educational events
- Medications: Limited over-the-counter and prescribed medications (as available).
- Personal Care: Cough drops, tissue packs, lip balm, COVID tests and masks
- Feminine Hygiene Products: In addition to free feminine hygiene products found in bathroom dispensers in multiple bathrooms around campus, the Student Health Center has an all-gender bathroom stocked with supplies for student use free of charge.
- Overdose and Drug-Tampering Prevention: The Student Health Center provides education, instruction, and supplies to prevent overdose and drug-tampering. Supplies free to students include Naloxone, Fentanyl and Xylazine test strips, drink tampering test strips (Think Twice).
